:: THE COUNTY LINE MULCH DIFFERENCE ::
Our mulch isn't made from any waste wood, wood from buildings, telephone
poles or pallets. 99% of bagged bought mulch contain these as base products.
Unlike bagged mulch, our organic natural is never dyed. Ours is aged 2 to 3
years and it is 100% organic, made from mostly bark (high in nitrogen) and
natural wood fiber, the way
mother nature does it. It is a composting mulch it makes heat, about 140
degrees. You can't put an organic composting mulch in a bag, the heat would
compromise the bag. No bugs can survive or want to be around it, and weeds
can't germinate.

:: MULCH NEWS ::
The County Line Mulch difference. We are a
small locally owned company in the Mulch business for over 16 years. In fact
the Renner family has been in business in the West Chester/Mason area for
over 40 years. Although a small Mom/Pop and Son operation we strive to
provide the VERY best Mulch at an exceptional value. We have low overhead
and Mulch is all we do so we try to do it the best that we can. Our goal is
simple, treat you the customer as we would want to be treated and provide
the best service we possibly can. Your satisfaction is our goal.
As we all know with this new economy
with sky rocketing fuel prices it has hit all small business hard.
Especially the Mulch industry. We have had to make the first price increase
in almost 5 years. Most of our Mulch comes from the eastern Kentucky area
where there a many saw mills that harvest the bark that is the main
ingredient that makes high quality premium Mulch. The transportation costs
have nearly doubled so we regretfully had to make a slight price increase.
Gimmicks, we don't use any. We price our Mulch
as fair as we can and sell wholesale to the public. We do still offer FREE
DELIVERY to the local area. We will try continue that as long as possible.
Some folks ask why our prices are so low, simply because of low overhead and
we buy in huge bulk, even with coupon gimmicks we are a better value. Mainly
because our Mulches are of higher quality, as 3X shredded compared to 2X,
very high quality base materials, bark compared to cheap waste woods that
often have bug issues and lastly our delivery is either FREE or
SIGNIFICANTLY lower than others.
The latest craze. Every year or two it seems a
new better way to mulch comes along each with new problems, Mother
nature ALWAYS does it best. There was coa-coa shell Mulch, it smelled like
chocolate, drew bugs, held water for mosquitoes and if not kept wet would
catch fire! Then there was bagged and bulk wood pallet Mulch, didn't compost
and has severe bug problems. Next there was rubber mulch, it smells
terrible, like an old tire that it is, doesn't compost, and can "cup" to
hold water and breed mosquitoes. In the end we think nature does it best, a
composting mulches main job is to retain moisture (not water), make heat to
insulate the broad temperature changes of the seasons to lessen the shock of
your plants and trees. It releases nitrogen as it composts so it provides
some fertilization. Helps keep the soil from "caking" in extreme hot
weather. It also helps prevent weeds and since it's making heat also bugs.
Especially in our area with our clay based soils it does a great job of
turning terrible soil into a rich top soil as it composts in just a few
years. AND it makes your project LOOK GREAT!
Our goal is simple: BEST MULCH, BEST PRICE,
BEST SERVICE! We look forward to serving you and hope we have provided some
good information along the way.
Sincerely, Dave Renner
